Rich Model "1/35 Polish Army Wasp Mk.2C Flame Thrower Carrier for the Italian War" plastic model kit.
The Wasp is a variation of the Universal Carrier, equipped with a flamethrower.
Initially, fuel and other fuel was stored inside the vehicle, but the Canadian Army developed a version with an external fuel tank. Because the external tank allowed for normal use inside the vehicle, this type was also produced and used by the British Army as the C type.
Since the flamethrower is mounted in the conventional machine gun turret, the Bren machine gun has been moved to the fighting compartment bulkhead.
After the occupation of their homeland, Polish soldiers founded the Free Polish Army and fought as Polish units within the British Army.
