Product Introduction

The Type 4 Holo self-propelled gun was the Japanese Army's most powerful combat-capable vehicle. It mounted a Type 38 15cm howitzer on a Type 97 medium tank chassis and was hastily completed in 1944 as an anti-tank self-propelled gun. The prototype vehicle was immediately sent to the Philippines, where the turmoil was escalating, and formed part of the 14th Area Army's Provisional Self-Propelled Artillery Company. It engaged in artillery fire with U.S. M4 Shermans. This first-ever plastic model accurately recreates the tank's distinctive open-top fighting compartment, large-caliber gun, and ammunition boxes inside and outside the chassis.
