Product Introduction

This 1/48 scale plastic model kit recreates the seaplane that played a prominent role as the protagonist's beloved aircraft in Hayao Miyazaki's film "Porco Rosso."

Due to its twice-larger size compared to the 1/72 scale model, the entire aircraft's shape has been newly designed. Based on anime setting materials and research into the structure of real aircraft from the era depicted in the film, the internal structure and engine have also been faithfully reproduced.

To allow you to experience both the enjoyment of the film and the fun of model building, a detailed aircraft description booklet is included, as if the actual aircraft had existed.
