The raw material for this fengqing dianhong variety is sourced from high mountains, at altitudes exceeding 1600 meters, promising naturally grown tea leaves without contamination, additives, or enhancements. The dry tea leaves are dense and round, producing a bright red tea infusion that is thick, refreshing, with a slightly sweet honey flavor, hints of sweet potato, and a mild bitterness.
The main distinction from the variety of red teas, and Dianhongs in particular, lies in its appearance. Similar to Bi Luo Chun green tea (Emerald Spring Spiral), this red tea (according to Chinese classification) features a spiral twist.
Spring first-grade raw material is used to make the tea, consisting of the terminal bud and a pair of subsequent leaves that have unfolded, with a small fragment of the stem. All of this is rolled
