Foresight 1/500 Japanese Navy Second-Class Battleship Zhenyuan Resin & Metal Kit MSM-033
Completed in 1885 by the German company Stitchin-Vulcan as the Qing Dynasty Beiyang Fleet armored ship Zhenyuan.
Captured as a war prize during the First Sino-Japanese War, it underwent restoration at the Yokosuka Shipyard beginning in 1895 (Meiji 28).
During the Russo-Japanese War, it served as the flagship of the Third Fleet, taking part in the blockade of Port Arthur and the Battle of Tsushima, both of which were part of the Third Fleet's Fifth Squadron.
Sold and dismantled in Yokohama in 1912 (Meiji 45), its main anchor is preserved on the grounds of the Fukuda Naval Headquarters in Kibitsu City, Okayama Prefecture.
