Product Introduction

The X-47B, which the U.S. Navy has been developing since 2007, aims to acquire the technologies necessary for developing a fully autonomous unmanned combat aircraft. It was created as a practical experimental aircraft based on the X-47A, the proof-of-concept aircraft that made its first flight in February 2003. This kit features newly molded nose landing gear, main landing gear, and closed bomb bay covers to recreate flight conditions. This further emphasizes the unity of the form. A stand for flight demonstrations is also included. The decals feature the "GO NAVY" and "BEAT ARMY" markings on the underside of the wings of F/A-18s in the "Army-Navy Game," a traditional annual football match between the United States Military Academy and the Naval Academy.
