1️⃣ Radio-Controlled (Radio Wave / Solar Radio) Models ・Our watches are shipped from Japan and are made for the Japanese market. ・A radio-controlled watch sets the time automatically by receiving a radio time signal transmitter. Japan's transmitters cannot be received outside Japan and nearby areas. ・Outside Japan, the watch will NOT correct the time automatically. It works as a normal quartz watch. ・This is a specification of the model, not a malfunction. Almost all cases reported to us are this. ・How to use it in your country:

① Set the time by hand: use the crown or the buttons to set the hour and minute hands to your local time.

② Use the time-difference function: if the model has World Time or a time-zone (home city / UTC offset) setting, set your city or offset (+/- hours) as written in the manual.

③ Please check the setting method for your specific model yourself (manual, or the maker's official website), as the procedure is different for every model. ・If a manual reception function is used outside Japan, the watch may show a reception error. This is normal.

2️⃣ Solar (Light-Powered) Models ・The watch may arrive stopped or with a low charge, because it was in a dark box during storage and transport. ・Please place it under bright light (sunlight or a strong lamp) for several hours before use. Full charging can take one day or more. ・A stopped watch on arrival is usually only a low battery, not a defect.

3️⃣ Battery Quartz Models ・A new watch often contains a "monitor battery" for factory testing. Its life can be shorter than a normal battery. ・Battery replacement is normal maintenance for every watch. It is a user cost and is not treated as a defect.

4️⃣ Mechanical / Automatic Models ・Mechanical watches are not as accurate as quartz. A daily difference of about -20 to +40 seconds per day is within the maker's normal standard, depending on the model. ・An automatic watch stops when it is not worn. If it is stopped on arrival, please wind it or wear it to start. This is not a defect. ・Magnets (phones, speakers, magnetic bags) can affect accuracy.

5️⃣ Japanese Domestic Specifications ・The day-of-week disc may show Japanese characters (kanji/kana), or Japanese + English. ・The manual, warranty card and package are printed in Japanese. ・If the product includes an AC adapter or charger, it is made for Japan (100V, type A plug). A plug adapter or voltage converter may be needed in your country. ・For smartwatches / Bluetooth models: some apps, services or language settings may be limited to Japan.

6️⃣ Bracelet & Band Size ・Metal bracelets are shipped at the factory length. They are not adjusted for your wrist. ・Adjustment (removing links) must be done by you or a local watch shop. This is not a defect and the adjustment cost is not refundable.

7️⃣ Warranty ・The included maker's warranty card is for use inside Japan only, and international warranty service is generally not available. ・About water resistance: marks such as 3ATM / 30m do NOT mean the watch can be used for swimming, diving or a shower. Please check the maker's specification. Damage caused by water is not covered.

The No.8A, featuring a completely redesigned face design, has been added to the lineup. While the No.8 only featured bar indices, the new No.8A adds applied Arabic numerals at 12, 2, 4, 8, and 10. These hour markers not only make reading the time easier, but also enhance the dial's contrast and create a more dazzling, luxurious impression. The Arabic numerals are finely engraved, dramatically enhancing their presence. The dial's base color is a stunning midnight blue, creating a striking contrast with the silver and pink gold. The sunray finish creates a radiant glow that changes depending on the light, revealing a variety of different faces depending on the brightness of the setting. While it shares the same case as the No.8, the bezel is the same color as the case rather than black, emphasizing the contrast with the midnight blue. The combination of sunray and hairline accentuates each other exquisitely. The band is also crafted from genuine cowhide leather with a delicate, elegant graining. The watch is crafted from leather. The deep blue, almost black, creates a sense of unity with the dial. Off-white stitching adds a unique contrast to the band itself. Its moderate softness makes it both lightweight and comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time. While the leather band may not be ideal for wet environments, the case remains water-resistant to 10 bar, as before. This level of water resistance is sufficient for everyday use. The three subdials on the dial feature a stopwatch second hand at the bottom, a 60-minute counter on the left, and a 24-hour counter on the right, providing a chronograph with additional functions. There's also a date window at 4 o'clock. These features are similar to those of the No. 8. The leather band lends this model a cool, dressy feel rather than a sporty one, but its functionality is certainly durable enough for sports use. The No. 8A's deep presence is perhaps unparalleled in this price range. It's a model suited to any occasion, so be sure to try it on.
