They offer a warm, vintage sound reminiscent of the late 1950s, and are calibrated to emphasize low-end response and reduce harsh midrange frequencies. The middle position features reverse-wound, reverse-polarity (RWRP) construction to reduce noise. Pole piece pitch: 10.4mm, mounting screw hole spacing: 76.5mm DC resistance: 6K, inductance: 2.5H, tolerance: 0.5K for single coils, 1K for humbuckers. Resistance varies with temperature and humidity. Resistance is usually higher in hot, dry weather and lower in cold, damp weather. In extreme cases, the tolerance may be larger.
