Pattern: Arabesque Rabbit Pattern (Meibutsu-re) This is a fukusa for the tea ceremony. It measures 28cm long and 27cm wide, the same size as a fukusa used for tea ceremonies. (Urasenke uses ko fukusa.) A fukusa is a fukusa placed next to a tea bowl when serving thick tea. The fabric used is a meibutsu-re, and the size varies depending on the school; Omotesenke and Mushakojisenke do not use ko fukusa, and instead use the same size as a tsukai fukusa. There may be some discrepancies in the size. The pattern may differ slightly from the photo depending on how the fabric is cut. We strive to make the image as close to the actual product as possible, but the color and texture may appear different depending on the photography conditions and the computer you are using.
