The Hitekkai Ikaruga, the player's plane from the hit shooter game "Ikaruga," is now reborn as a "plastic kit for advanced players"!

The previously released garage kit, created by Daishi Iseya, has been given a facelift by the game's original designer, Yasushi Suzuki, who has revised the form and added details, giving it a new look as a 1/144 scale plastic kit. By deliberately designing it as a "plastic kit for advanced players," we've faithfully recreated the details and form that would normally be omitted in a standard product. The iconic "Release of Power" firing mode from the game can be recreated with interchangeable parts, as can the landing gear. The various patterns on the plane are recreated with "molds" and "decals." The base is based on a portion of the final boss, "Ubusunagami Oukinokai," further enhancing the atmosphere. The packaging was also designed by the original designer, Yasushi Suzuki.

Despite being just 155mm long, the Hitekkai Ikaruga [White] boasts the highest level of detail of any Kotobukiya plastic kit.
