Feature:
1. Non Contact Detection: The sensor utilizes advanced signal processing technology to enable non contact detection of liquid levels in closed containers, effectively overcoming the challenges posed by wall thickness.
2. Advanced Capacitive Sensing: Utilizing the principle of inductive capacitance, this non contact liquid level sensor detects liquid presence by measuring changes in static capacitance as liquid approaches.
3. Robust Design: Featuring an IP65 rated enclosure, the liquid induction level switch is protected against dust and humidity intrusion, ensuring longevity and reliability even in demanding environments. The ABS plastic housing is both insulating and flame retardant.
4. Wide Compatibility And Sensitivity: This non contact water level sensor is compatible with popular platforms like fit for Pi. Its adjustable sensitivity allows for customizable liquid level detection.
5. Versatile Applications: With a detection range of over 12mm, this contactless water level detection sensor is capable of penetrating various non metallic container materials such as plastic, glass, and ceramics.

Wiring Terminal Definition: Brown (Positive Power), Blue (Negative Power), Black (Signal Line), White (Mode Line). The white line is left floating, NPN normally open, the white line is shorted to the blue line, NPN normally closed.
Sensor Sensitivity Adjustment:
1. Turn counterclockwise to increase sensitivity, turn clockwise to decrease sensitivity.
2. The sensor can detect human hands, so it is recommended to adjust the sensor to a fixed position to avoid human hands within the detection range.
Measurement Output Voltage:
The sensor outputs NPN normally open, collector open output. When not connected to any load and only measured with a multimeter, the high level value is virtual and does not have actual significance.
Connect a load less than 0.2A (indicator light, small relay, pull up resistor, optocoupler, etc.) to the sensor for the measurement to be valid.
Attention to high level issues when connecting to a microcontroller or PLC:
Example: Connect a 12V sensor to a 5V microcontroller, connect the 12V positive pole to the brown line, connect the 12V negative pole to the blue line, and connect the black line to a 10K resistor pulled up to a 5V voltage, making the black line 5V high or low.
Use of Mode Line (White Line):
1. The white line is the mode line that controls the sensor s output high and low levels flip. The white line is left floating by default.
2. Please note that misconnecting the white line with the brown or black line may cause damage to the sensor!
Example: Connect 12V positive to sensor brown, 12V negative to sensor blue, sensor black to relay coil, and 12V positive to the other end of relay coil.
White Wire Floating: When water is present, the sensor light is on, the internal NPN transistor conducts, the black wire is at a low level, and the relay engages.
White Wire Floating: When there is no water, the sensor light is off, the internal NPN transistor does not conduct, the black wire is at a high level, and the relay disengages.
White Wire Connected to Blue Wire: When water is present, the sensor light is on, the internal NPN transistor does not conduct, the black wire is at a high level, and the relay disengages.
White Wire Connected to Blue Wire: When there is no water, the sensor light is off, the internal NPN transistor conducts, the black wire is at a low level, and the relay engages..
