Atsumi" is the first Japanese-made LST, built to replace the mass-produced "Osumi"-class LST provided by the United States.
The hull has space for five Type 74 tanks and accommodation for 130 transport troops. It can also accommodate two landing craft (LCVPs) and an additional LCM.
The kit includes a Type 61 tank, Type 74 tank, Type 90 tank, Type 89 armored fighting vehicle, two Type 73 heavy trucks, a Type 82 command and communication vehicle, a Type 81 short-range SAM-equipped vehicle, an LCVP, and an LCM.
