In 2013, the first theatrical release in 17 years, "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods," was released. Revealing new truths, such as the existence of the "God of Destruction" and the "12 Universes," the film thrilled not only children but also adults who once passionately followed the series. Now, in 2015, the long-awaited new film is finally here! This is the first time that Akira Toriyama, the original author of the 19th film, has written the screenplay himself. [Story]
A fateful clash! A battle beyond gods begins!
After the battle with Beerus, the God of Destruction, peace has returned to Earth. Sorbet and Tagoma, two surviving members of Frieza's army, approach in search of the Dragon Balls. Their goal: to revive Frieza in order to revive their army. Their worst wish in the history of the universe is finally granted, and the resurrected Frieza seeks revenge on Goku and the Saiyans. Then, as the New Frieza Army descends upon Earth, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, and others clash with 1,000 soldiers. Goku and Vegeta face off in a fateful showdown with Frieza, but Frieza has achieved an overwhelming power-up!
