Description

This full-metal chronograph from the analog "2100" series, developed based on the concept of the original G-SHOCK model, the "DW-5000C," is part of the analog "2100" series. While the case and bezel are made of stainless steel, this model retains the octagonal bezel shape that was also adopted on the DW-5000C, released in 1983. A fine resin buffer between the bezel and case ensures shock resistance despite the metal exterior. The bezel is crafted into a three-dimensional shape through time-consuming forging, cutting, and polishing processes, with a beautiful finish featuring a circular hairline on the top and a mirror-polished bevel. The indices and inner dial ring are delicately crafted using micro-machining technology and feature a vapor deposition process for a high-quality finish. The band features a tough silicone material, made of a soft and comfortable silicone material covered with urethane for enhanced wear resistance. The underside of the urethane is coated with a gunmetal vapor deposition finish, while the surface is finished with a hairline, blending seamlessly with the full-metal case. High-density implementation technology allows for a slim, high-performance module, achieving a slim design. Comfort is also a key consideration. Connecting to a dedicated app via Bluetooth® communication acquires time information and keeps accurate timekeeping. It also features practical features like Tough Solar and a high-brightness LED light.
