G-SHOCK and BABY-G have collaborated with various environmental organizations since the late 1990s and continue to support them. Under the theme of "Love the Sea and the Earth," we support ICERC Japan, which promotes the wonders of nature through dolphins and whales. The 2025 theme is "humpback whales" and "finless porpoises." The contrasting white and blue colors evoke the ocean and coastal waters where they swim, using different shades of blue. G-SHOCK uses the humpback whale, characterized by its large pectoral fins, as its design motif. The two-tone body color is expressed with a strong contrast, and the deep blue evokes the oceanic migration of humpback whales. Silhouettes are featured on the front button, band ring, and LCD (when the LED backlight is on), and a pattern reminiscent of the stripes on the belly is printed on the dial. BABY-G uses the finless porpoise, known for its charming round head and adorable expression, as its design motif. White, reminiscent of the porpoise's body color, is used as the main color, while the light blue band represents the nearby waters where the porpoise lives. Furthermore, the inset dial ring (at 6 o'clock) is a vibrant blue, reminiscent of the bubble ring created by the porpoise. The band ring features a silhouette of a lively swimmer. Both models feature the "ICERC Japan" logo printed on the band, and the "Love the Sea and the Earth" symbol engraved on the case back. Furthermore, the main resin parts of the bezel and band are made from biomass plastic, which is expected to contribute to reducing environmental impact. In terms of functionality, the watch is equipped with a Tough Solar powered solar-powered system and a radio wave reception function that automatically adjusts the time by receiving standard radio waves from six stations around the world. The packaging is also specially designed using recycled materials. This special model features an adorable silhouette throughout.
