Product Introduction

This model is a reproduction of the E16+E66 train set belonging to the Kozu Rolling Stock Center. Accurately recreates the distinctive features of the JR East/Niitsu Rolling Stock Works-manufactured car bodies, showcasing the differences in the roof beads (ridge-like protrusions) (excluding Green Cars). Each leading car features illuminated head and taillights and front displays. Cars 10 (Kuha E233-3016) and 11 (Kuha E232-3516) feature switches to turn them off. Cars 1 and 15 feature dummy couplers at the front, while cars 10 and 11 feature KATO close-coupled couplers (without hooks) and include an electric coupler. One coupler and one electric coupler are also included for connection to previous models. The intermediate coupler is equipped with a body-mounted KATO close-coupled coupler as standard, ensuring a realistic coupling surface and smooth running. Destination displays are printed. Includes a replacement front display: "Local/Ueno-Tokyo Line, Utsunomiya Line Direct." The slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running.
