This model recreates the later model of the E235-0 series, featuring thinner roof beads. A full 11-car formation can be recreated by combining this set (cars 8, 9, and 10), the Basic Set [98525], and Add-on Set A [98526]. The distinctive door line color is reproduced through printing. A transfer sheet is included for selectable car numbers. The front display is a pre-printed, interchangeable part. Rear displays are included for each of the following flowers: "Camellia," "Plum," "Dandelion," "Cherry Blossom," "Iris," "Hydrangea," "Morning Glory," "Sunflower," "Wild Chrysanthemum," "Susuki," "Ginkgo," and "Cyclamen." The side glass is reproduced with green glass. Features a new current collection system and black wheels.
