High Grade (HG) specification. Reproduces the H03 formation, the last of the 489 series to be painted in Hakusan color and in active service. Reproduces the later appearance when the emergency exits and bathroom windows were removed and the windshield wipers on the lead car were changed. KuHa 489 No. 3 is reproduced as it appeared when the cover for the driver's cab light was removed. The pantograph reproduces the different shoe shapes on the front and rear of the car. Pre-printed train mark "Hakusan" is attached, and replacement "Asama, Noto, and Hakutaka" train marks are included. Toilet tank is attached. Shoe rails, door rails, car numbers, and some markings are printed. H-rubbers are reproduced in black. ATS on-board unit parts included. Seat is reproduced in beige for KuHa 489 No. 503 and MoHa 489, blue for KuHa 489 No. 3 and MoHa 488, and reddish-brown for SaRo 489 No. 27. The head and tail lights and train markings are equipped with constant-on circuit boards and an ON-OFF switch. The head and tail lights and train markings are illuminated by warm white LEDs. The train markings use color prisms to illuminate in a near-white color. Features a flywheel-equipped motor, a new current collection system, and black wheels. Uses an M-13 motor. A TN coupler (SP) is standard on the driver's cab side of the leading car of KuHa 489, No. 503. TN couplers (SP) with piping are standard on each coupling side.
