Product Introduction
Transverse-engine SUVs have become the standard for passenger cars worldwide.
The original RAV4, released in 1994, can be considered the origin of this trend.
Initially, the RAV4 was available only as a three-door short body, but the following year, a five-door version bearing the "V" name was added, further increasing its popularity.
Highly acclaimed overseas, the car remained in production until 2000, with various variations added, including an open-top, high-powered engine, and an electric vehicle.
A new mold has been used to recreate the five-door version of the first-generation RAV4. In the Japanese market, dealers assigned the sub-names L and J, distinguishing them by the mesh pattern on the front grille.
This product features the L model sold at Corolla dealerships.
Optional accessories such as a grille guard and fog lights, reflecting the RV boom of the mid-1990s, are also included.
Reflect on the history of the SUV, which has become the standard for passenger cars today.
