Counted one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, it boasts a rich history spanning more than 1,200 years. The name "hechimon" comes from a Shigaraki artisan's term meaning "unusual objects." These vessels, like the various shapes created by nature and the individual personalities of each of us, possess a variety of expressions.
