This is a Mini 4WD kit that requires assembly. Tools and other accessories are required. [A prize-winning entry boldly incorporating the design of a fanged snake] This plastic model assembly kit is based on a high-performance shaft-driven four-wheel drive racer. Copper Fang won the prize at the Mini 4WD Design Contest 2018. Its appealing styling combines a classic sports car with a snake motif. The metallic orange ABS resin body features a striking design featuring a snake's head with its mouth wide open. The snake-like design is incorporated into various parts, including the fang-like headlights and scale-like panel lines. Additionally, metallic stickers are used to create the sharp side lines, headlights, and logo. [Front-Motor FM-A Chassis] The FM-A chassis features a front-motor layout that incorporates an aerodynamic design. The center of gravity is positioned toward the front of the vehicle, providing stable running even on courses with many ups and downs. A low-friction resin skid bar is standard equipment on the lower front, and the four rollers are also made of low-friction resin. The rear rollers are 8mm thick for increased stability. Furthermore, the motor can be easily replaced from the underside of the chassis, allowing for quick setup changes. The aero side stays, inspired by the cross-sectional shape of an airplane wing, can be used to attach various parts. The chassis itself is made of black ABS resin, while A-parts such as the underpanel and skid bar are made of black low-friction resin. Additionally, small-diameter, super-hard, low-profile tires are mounted on silver-plated A-spoke wheels. The gear ratio is set to 3.5:1.
