The high-definition HD panel provides approximately 2.4 times the resolution of the WVGA panel used in our previous model. Large jaggies (steps) are eliminated from the displayed image, enabling crisp, sharp images. The map rendering has been revised to accommodate the inclusion of a high-definition HD panel, and an HD rendering map that has been thoroughly tuned for HD quality has been adopted. Making the most of the capabilities of the high-definition HD panel, it is possible to render maps that are easy to see with high definition and no blurring. By connecting to the rear monitor via HDMI, the monitor mirroring function allows the high-definition map screen displayed on the navigation system to be viewed in the back seat.In addition, by connecting the navigation-linked drive recorder "DRV-MN940" (sold separately) via HD-TVI, recorded and live footage can be clearly viewed in the back seat, allowing all passengers to be aware of dangers such as aggressive driving. It supports playback of various high-resolution audio formats, including DSD, FLAC, and WAV (192kHz/24bit). It delivers the excellent clarity and realism that is characteristic of digital sound.
