Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) To Thunderbolt 2 Adapter

The Apple Thunderbolt 3 Adapter makes it easy to connect Thunderbolt 2 devices to your Mac. This adapter lets you connect Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 2 devices, such as external hard drives and Thunderbolt docks, to all of your Mac's Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) and USB 4 ports. Because it's a bidirectional adapter, you can also connect newer Thunderbolt 3 devices to Macs with Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 2 ports and macOS Sierra or later. You can also use it to connect Thunderbolt-enabled displays, such as the Apple Thunderbolt Display or LG Thunderbolt 2 display, to your Mac's Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) and USB 4 ports. However, a separate power supply is required for the Apple Thunderbolt Display, as the display cannot draw power from the adapter. Note: This adapter is not compatible with DisplayPort displays, such as the Apple LED Cinema Display or third-party DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort displays.
