◆Cover/SPECIAL INTERVIEW
Suga Shikao
Suga Shikao has released his first original album in six years. In 2011, he left his previous agency and moved to the indie scene, where he energetically used social media and music distribution to forge a new field. Now that he has found his footing again, he has finally completed his culmination of his work, "THE LAST," co-produced with Kobayashi Takeshi. With its raw acoustic guitar and lyrics and vocals that perfectly capture Suga's signature style, this album deserves to be called the "new Suga Shikao." We spoke with him about this album, his first major label release in a long time. We delve into the various aspects of this work, including his current favorite acoustic guitar and a discussion of his playing techniques that reveal the appeal of his songwriting. *Acoustic guitar diagram scores: "Trembling Hands," "Astride," "Golden Moon," "Story," "Under the Night Sky," "Progress"
