This model inherits key technologies from the adizero ZG series, including Spikemore, LIGHTSTRIKE PRO, LIGHTSTRIKE, and a lightweight Sprintskin upper, while featuring a BOA construction that offers a different feel than the stainless steel model. While maintaining the comfort of lace-up models, the BOA dial is positioned on the tongue, allowing for a better fit for feet with high insteps and larger midfoot volume. By utilizing Sprintskin over a larger area than the standard BOA model, the shoe is also lighter. Additionally, the highly cushioned tongue reduces BOA lace bite and discomfort, providing midfoot stability—critical for controlling swing motion—without sacrificing a soft feel.
