The cover completely covers the camera, reducing interior reflections caused by rear windshield glare. It also protects the rear camera from misalignment due to unexpected impacts, scratches, dirt, and dust. When installing an exterior rear camera inside the vehicle, adding a camera cover improves the appearance.
