The FH5s are completely redesigned universal hybrid in-ear monitors that pioneer a new phase in FIIO's FH series, which has been highly acclaimed for its high sound quality thanks to its BA driver + dynamic driver configuration and elegant design. 2BA+2DD architecture delivers even higher sound quality. The FH5s/FH5s Pro feature a unique 2BA+2DD architecture, featuring two balanced armature drivers for the high frequencies and one dynamic driver each for the midrange and low frequencies. The newly installed Knowles dual BA drivers TFFK-30017 enhance high-frequency reproduction, delivering delicate and vivid sound. The mid-low range drivers also feature beryllium-coated 6mm and 12mm dual dynamic drivers. Careful consideration has been given to phase matching between the low and midrange frequencies, covering a wider frequency range while creating a vast soundstage and a realistic sense of atmosphere thanks to drivers specialized for each frequency range. The FH5s features three tuning switches for adjusting low, mid, and high frequency response, allowing for flexible tuning to suit individual preferences and changing listening environments. The semi-open rear cavity design was refined through repeated simulations to ensure uniform air pressure between the front and rear cavities. The result is a spacious soundstage, comfortable listening, and natural sound. The FH5s employs a "tri-shell" sandwich structure, firmly secured at three points by the rear shell, body, and front cover, all machined from aluminum-magnesium alloy using 5-axis CNC machining. This significantly reduces excessive resonance and distortion. The FH5s includes an MMCX cable with a total of 120 silver-plated, high-purity single-crystal copper core wires. The player-side plug features a twist-lock mechanism with interchangeable 2.5/3.5/4.4mm plugs, ensuring ideal playback with any player or earphone.
