Of the Four Heavenly Kings, Tamonten is located to the north (left behind) of the principal image. This statue stands approximately 160mm tall, allowing you to enjoy its presence and meticulous detail when you hold it in your hand.
This item beautifully captures the tranquil atmosphere of the real Tamonten statue, with the pagoda held high, mouth slightly open, and gaze to the heavens, evoking the sense that there is something even more sacred before his eyes.
In addition to the trident spear in his right hand, the rough-shaped pedestal, and the pagoda in his hand, which are said to bring prosperity, all of which are essential to Tamonten, the sculpture also captures the subtle texture of the decorative surface of his armor, the different shapes of the left and right waist guards, and the different textures of the materials, such as cloth, leather, and skin.
To prevent the details and distinctive curves of each part from being crushed by the mold forming process caused by injection molding, the parts have been cleverly divided with an emphasis on beauty when assembled, and even small parts such as the ears and shoulder pads of the armor have been sculpted with high precision, faithfully reproducing the intricacy of the original form in a plastic model kit.
By keeping the number of parts to a minimum, the shape of the Tamonten statue can be put together with a simple assembly process. This is an item that allows you to easily enjoy the beautiful curves, meticulous craftsmanship, and presence of a war god.
