<Story> Hikari, Umi, and Kaze are three middle school girls on a field trip to Tokyo Tower. They are suddenly enveloped in a powerful light and suddenly find themselves transported to a completely unfamiliar, parallel world. Cephiro, the land of the dead, has become a barren wasteland overrun by monsters since Princess Emerald, a precious "pillar" of the world, was abducted by the priest Zagato. Only the legendary magic knight, Rayearth, can save Cephiro. Hikari and the other three are summoned by Princess Emerald to be her magic knights. In a world where magic lives and where the strength of one's mind directly determines one's own strength, Light and his friends have risen up to save Cephiro and bring back Princess Emeraude...
