Due to the inconsistent values of parameters such as battery capacity, internal resistance, and voltage, the battery with the smallest capacity during charging is prone to overcharging and discharging. After damage, the smallest battery capacity becomes smaller and enters a vicious cycle. The performance of individual batteries directly affects the charging and discharging characteristics of the entire battery group and the reduction of battery capacity. A BMS without balancing function is just a data collector, and it is difficult to call it a management system.
The BMS active balancing function can achieve a maximum continuous balancing current of 1A. Transfer the high energy of individual cells to the low energy of individual cells, or supplement the lowest energy of individual cells with the entire set of energy. During the implementation process, the energy is redistributed through the energy storage link to ensure battery consistency, improve battery range, and delay battery aging to the greatest extent possible.
