This cordless model uses infrared communication between the main unit and the control unit. No need for a cord, it's easy to measure and allows you to check your readings at your fingertips, even when you're away from the main unit.
●This device communicates between the main unit and the control unit via infrared. The infrared transmitter on the device receives the signal from the infrared receiver on the control unit. Communication may not be possible depending on the location of the control unit and the surrounding environment (lighting, sunlight, etc.). (Display will begin when the control unit is positioned to receive the signal during measurement.)
