■■Detailed Description■■
- A slightly longer rod at 240cm for edge fishing, this rod features a body action that allows for "tame" (holding).
The "Sea Fishing SP240" is designed at 240cm, a slightly longer length for edge fishing.
By increasing the bending stroke, this rod bends beautifully all the way to the butt when a fish is hooked, resulting in a body-action fishing rod that allows for effective tension during the fight.
Not only can you fully enjoy the pull of red sea bream and striped jack, but the entire rod absorbs the impact of the fish's pull, making it less likely for the line to slacken or slip away.
- 0.65mm carbon solid tip for excellent sensitivity and bite-in.
Some people might think that a rod with a bendable body action will provide good bite-in, but won't it lack sensitivity? However, with the "Sakizuri SP240," there's no need to worry.
The tip is made of the same ultra-fine 0.65mm carbon solid tip as previous Sokukake series rods (Nakatsuzuri SP350 and Nakatsuzuri SP290). It combines sensitivity, allowing you to feel even the tiniest of bites, with excellent bite-in.
A slender, lightweight rod designed specifically for red sea bream and striped jack.
The rod power of the "Sakizuri SP240" is specifically designed for red sea bream and striped jack.
This makes it a slightly slimmer and lighter rod than rods designed for targeting bluefish. (Weight: approximately 130g)
The butt section, which accounts for the majority of the rod's weight, is thinner and lighter than conventional rods, so it may feel lighter than you'd expect when you hold it in your hand.
Easy one-handed hooking for quicker hooking
The "Sakizuri SP240" has a short overall length, making it easy to handle, and its lightweight rod allows for easy one-handed hooking.
For delicate bites from fish tightly positioned near the edge of the fish trap, you can quickly hook one-handed, faster than with both hands.
