Front Fork Support
Compatible with 12mm and 15mm thru-axles as standard.
The front fork set is secured to the axle currently installed on the bike.
The aluminum pipe threaded through the front fork support is only used with 12mm thru-axles; remove it for 15mm axles.
For 15mm boost-type bikes (110mm), installation is possible using the 15/110mm Boost Fork Support (optional, sold separately for the VERGO).
Cautions/Restrictions
Virgo is a platform for transporting bicycles upright in a car. It clamps the front fork with the front wheel removed to hold the bike in place.
Do not use for any purpose other than as instructed (such as attaching it to a wall to hold the bicycle upright).
- Cannot be used with 20mm thru-axle or hub nut type bicycles.
- For bicycles with 9mm quick release or Boost hubs, please replace the front fork holder with a dedicated front fork holder (sold separately).
- When mounting on a vehicle equipped with hydraulic brakes, never squeeze the brake lever after removing the wheel. The pads will stick and will not be able to be returned to their original position.
To prevent this problem, be sure to insert the included spacers between the pads after removing the wheel.
- The front fork holder is limited to front wheel hubs with a width of 100mm. It does not have an adjustment mechanism, so it will not fit small-diameter bicycles such as 72mm sizes.
- Drive gently while the bicycle is mounted on the Virgo. Since the bicycle is not secured to the floor, avoid sudden braking, steering, or sudden acceleration.
- The bicycle may hit something and cause damage to the vehicle or other equipment.
When closing the tailgate, be careful not to hit the rear window with the handlebars or brake levers.
