Product Introduction
The Nissan Fairlady Z was launched in the fall of 1969. A stark departure from the open-body Fairlady models that preceded it, the Fairlady Z featured a closed, roofed body with car-level comfort options, while also offering high performance and affordability. It revolutionized the world of sports cars.
In 1974, a four-seater 2by2 version was added, extending the overall length by 310 mm, and became a major sales driver.
The first generation, produced until 1978, is considered the most successful sports car of the 1970s.
TLV-NEO has been producing the first-generation Fairlady Z 2by2 since 2009, and this time, a new version has been added. This model recreates the version featured in the TV drama "Daitokai Part III," which aired from 1978.
The red light attached via the roof carrier is a distinctive feature of the car featured in the series.
