Wa KOMONO Komon Kobo
Uni Seni's original "Wa KOMONO" is made with a focus on Japanese originality, using Komon Kobo Futago Chirimen R (trademark patent) material produced in factories in Kyoto and the Hokuriku region, and is then made into "Wa KOMONO" products at a famous Kyoto workshop.
Futakoshi crepe is a type of traditional Japanese fabric that is also known as ancient crepe.
"Koshi" is a unit that represents the number of weft threads, and when one thread is twisted to the right and one to the left alternately, it is called Ichikoshi Chirimen, and when two threads are woven together, it is called Futagoshi Chirimen.
The wrinkles in the Nikoshi fabric are larger and deeper than those in the Ichikoshi fabric.
It is a soft, airy fabric with a nice texture, thin and stretchy, typical of crepe.
