High-Performance ED Glass Lenses: The objective lens (the largest lens), crucial to optical performance, utilizes ED glass (extra-low dispersion) lenses for superior optical performance. Color fringing is minimized for a crisp, clear view.
Three Special Coatings for Clear, High-Resolution Images: To minimize light reflection and scattering, the objective and eyepiece lenses are fully multi-coated with an anti-reflective coating, and the prisms are coated with two types of coatings (phase coating and high-reflection coating) to suppress light scattering. These coatings effectively minimize light reflection and scattering on and within the binoculars, delivering exceptionally clear, high-resolution images.
Brightness and Magnification: Lens diameter and magnification are important performance factors that significantly affect the viewing experience of binoculars. The larger the lens diameter, the brighter and clearer the subject will appear. Additionally, lower magnifications tend to be easier to view through and brighter. The APEX J HR10x32WP features a 3.2mm exit pupil diameter for moderate brightness, while maintaining a balanced 10x magnification. It also features a 19mm diameter eyepiece (the lens at the viewing port), providing bright, exceptionally comfortable viewing. The viewing port is equipped with a rubber eyecup that allows you to adjust the height, allowing you to use it with your bare eyes, contact lenses, or glasses for optimal viewing.
