The final design by former JHS Pedals chief engineer Cliff Smith, this modern distortion pedal delivers a harder, deeper sound than any previous overdrive or distortion pedal. Achieving a new approach to high-gain distortion in pedal format, the Hard Drive features a cascaded gain stage and hard limiting circuit, while the Class AB amp section features sweepable midrange EQ and Baxandall bass and treble controls. Extensive external controls allow you to go from tube amp crunch to a true wall of distortion that easily cuts through stage and studio mixes.
