Made from natural materials with lower thermal conductivity than ceramic, metal, or glass, this vessel conveys the unique changes in flavor that only natural materials can offer. For example, with a fruity, dry Chardonnay, the sharp attack is enhanced with mellowness and depth, creating a more lingering impression. With a mild Merlot, the gentleness and mellowness remain intact, while the flavor and taste are concentrated, highlighting the moderate astringency of the tannins and the Merlot's natural aroma. Enjoy the flavors that can only be expressed with a gentle, handcrafted finish. The reason the vessel does not interfere with the flavor of the alcohol is that the temperature of the vessel itself remains stable, unaffected by the liquid poured into it or the outside temperature. Available in two colors: a luxurious white that makes the most of the natural color of the material, and a tasteful brown, the color of which is changed by smoking at high temperature. *All RIVERET tableware is dishwasher safe. *Use only with hot water set to 70°C or below. *Do not use dishwasher detergents containing bleach or abrasives.
