It is also used to add a natural red color to foods. It is made from the red fleshy root part of the beet. One pound of beet powder has the same nutrients as 10 pounds of raw beets.

Product Usage: One pound of beet powder can be hydrated to produce five pounds, which is roughly equivalent to 8-9 pounds of fresh beets. To rehydrate 2 tablespoons of product, use approximately 1/3 cup of water. The rehydration process can be done immediately with hot or boiling water.
