RODEN "1/32 Scale World War I Oberursel Ur.2 110hp Air-Cooled Engine Display Model" Plastic Model.
Oberursel was a manufacturer of automobiles and locomotives, but with the development of aviation, it also began producing aircraft engines.
In 1908, they obtained a license for the French Rhone 9c engine and began production.
When the war began, they supplied the German military with improved versions of the Rhone engine.
The most successful of these was the Ur-II.
Fokker particularly favored the Ur-II, designing and producing numerous fighter planes that were active in combat.
