3. Language and manual Product instructions and displays may only be in Japanese. This simple and easy-to-use "Peach drop" long umbrella features a slightly larger 60cm rib, perfect for women. Like the skin of a peach, "Peach drop" features a slightly brushed surface, making it an ultra-water-repellent material that instantly sheds water droplets even when hit by rain. While "ultra-water-repellent" is generally defined as "a phenomenon in which water droplets make contact with a surface at a contact angle of approximately 150°," the "Peach drop" achieved a measured contact angle of 153°, allowing water droplets to maintain a ball-like surface tension thanks to the fabric's water-repellent properties. Additionally, its water-repellent properties are highly durable. In water-repellency tests conducted by a testing institute, the fabric was measured as having the highest water-repellency rating of Grade 5 before washing. It maintained Grade 4 after 40 washes, and maintained Grade 3 water-repellency even after 50 washes. After 50 washes, the fabric was treated with hot air and re-tested, and the water-repellency recovered to the same level as after five washes. Even after the water-repellency has decreased, applying heat will restore the function, allowing the fabric to be used for a long time while maintaining its water-repellency. The ribs are made of flexible and durable fiberglass, and the center pole is made of aluminum, making this a lightweight and easy-to-use umbrella. It also features a "safety stopper" that prevents fingers or nails from getting pinched, so you can open and close it with just a push of a button, making it safe to use.
