・As the second release of the EF58 series, this model features the distinctive original small window body.
・Based on the No. 150 locomotive of Miyahara Locomotive Depot, which was repainted brown just before the transition from JNR to JR (this model depicts the locomotive's appearance after the JR acquisition). Because it is the No. 61 locomotive, the brown paint is different from the original color.
・Enjoy coupling with separately sold 14-series passenger cars and other accessories.
・Minimum running radius is R195. Headlights are on.
