Product Introduction
Fine Molds 1/72 Jet Aircraft Series American F-14B Tomcat™ VF-143 Pukin Dogs Plastic Model FF01
The F-14A Tomcat, which entered service in September 1974, was replaced in the 1990s by the F-14B, equipped with a more powerful F110-GE-400 engine and an updated fire control system. The F-14B's distinguishing feature is the reshaped engine nozzle.
The F-14B was primarily deployed to carrier air wings in the Atlantic and Mediterranean regions.
The 143rd Fighter Squadron (VF-143) is characterized by the large-winged leopard painted on its vertical stabilizer. While the nickname "Pukin Dogs" is vulgar, it is still the official unit name for VFA-143, which has now become a fighter-attack squadron and retained the markings.
This kit includes engine nozzle parts for the B/D types, which differ from the A type, precisely replicating the differences between the A and B types.
This product is a plastic model kit that requires assembly and painting.
This product requires additional adhesives, tools, paints, etc. for assembly and painting.
