The Terminator, who traveled to the past as an evil character in the first film and a good character in the second, is played by none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger.

For his comeback in this film, he underwent six months of rigorous training to hone his physique and even tackled the full-nude scenes without a stunt double. Also starring is Nick Stahl, whose performance in "In the Bedroom" was highly praised by the media, as Sean Connor, who, burdened by the confusion and sadness of knowing his own future, embarks on a mission to recount the world once again. The heroine, Kate, who is bound to him by a mysterious thread of fate, is played by Claire Danes, who enjoys enduring popularity in Japan for her roles in "Little Women" and "Romeo + Juliet." And the T-X, who relentlessly pursues John using her feminine wiles to the fullest, is played by supermodel-turned-actress Kristanna Loken, who exudes a powerful personality.

The director is Jonathan Mostow, who helmed "U-571," which was nominated for two Academy Awards. Having been recognized for his thrill-seeking skills in "Breakdown" and "U-571," he fully demonstrates his strengths in this film as well. Undeterred by the title of a blockbuster, he draws the viewer in with his sharp and incisive storytelling.

The screenplay is credited to the duo of John Brancato and Michael Ferris of "The Game." The director of photography is Don Burgess, who was nominated for an Oscar for "Forrest Gump." The production design is by Jeff Mann of "Swordfish" and "Gone in 60 Seconds." The costumes are by April Ferry, who previously collaborated with director John Mostow on *U-571*. Editing is by Neil Travis of *The Sum of All Fears*. Furthermore, Stan Winston, the original Terminator designer, is once again participating as the animatronics and makeup effects supervisor. Working with ILM, who handles the VFX, they are creating unprecedented visuals that will surpass the imagination of film fans.
