This baby and kids' sleeper cozily wraps your sleeping child in soft, six-ply gauze, protecting them from catching a chill.
Six-ply gauze for all seasons.
Woven from layers of finely and coarsely woven gauze, this six-ply gauze fabric traps air and becomes softer with use. This air-trapping layer is achieved by varying the thickness of the weft threads, but weaving with different thread thicknesses requires skill due to the difficulty of adjusting the threads. Angelolux's six-ply gauze uses traditional Mikawa cotton weaving techniques to achieve a softness and fluffiness that surpasses previous six-ply gauze. It quickly absorbs and wicks away sweat to keep you cool in hot weather, and traps air between the layers of gauze to keep you warm in cold weather, making it a comfortable material for year-round use. Repeated washing also makes it fluffier and more comfortable against the skin. The quick-drying material ensures clean, worry-free use every day.
● "Mikawa Cotton" Spun Since the Edo Period
Angerolux's six-ply gauze is produced in Gamagori City, located in eastern Aichi Prefecture, a region famous for its textiles. During the Edo period, Gamagori City thrived on cotton cultivation as part of Mikawa Province. Since the Meiji period, it has incorporated Western techniques to create the "Mikawa Cotton" and "Mikawa Stripe" brands. While maintaining traditional techniques, skilled artisans continue to spin six-ply gauze made from Mikawa cotton, resulting in a soft, fluffy texture that feels incredibly comfortable against the skin. Furthermore, because it's something a child will wear, only reliable, reliable Japanese-made products are the best. From the fabric to the sewing, everything is done in Japan.
● Carrying our thoughts on a little star
Angerolux is a coined word combining the Italian word "angelo" (angel) and the Latin word "lux" (light). The name "Angelolux" means "a light that illuminates the future of angelic children." Its name embodies our desire to create trustworthy products for children's futures, with the goal of crafting products from the same perspective as moms and dads. The subtle star design among small polka dots is an original Angelolux gauze fabric that embodies this passion. Everything from the design to the color selection was achieved through repeated trial and error.
●No problem for awkward sleepers
When fastening the two snap buttons at the crotch, the sleeper transforms into pants, preventing the hem from rolling up! No need to worry about rubbing your child's eyes at night, searching for their sleeping position and having to re-cover them with a blanket. For quick dressing, simply unbutton the crotch buttons and wear it like a vest. Even if your baby grows out of the crotch buttons, it can be worn as a vest for years to come. *When fastening and unfastening the buttons, hold only the buttons, not the fabric.
●Easy to put on with a front opening
The open-front design allows you to lay your baby down in the sleeper, and then simply fasten the snap buttons. It's easy to put on, even for sleepy, fussy babies, so you can rest assured.
● Covers shoulders that tend to stick out from the futon
The longer French sleeves gently encase shoulders that tend to stick out from the futon.
● Available in sizes 50-70cm (approx. 0 months-1 year), 80-100cm (approx. 1-3 years), and 110-120cm (approx. 4-6 years).
The body width is wider to make it easier to wear with thicker pajamas in cold seasons.
*Please note that the product is made larger than the stated size to account for shrinkage of the gauze fabric during washing. The actual size will be the stated size after washing. Please note that there may be slight variations depending on the washing method.
