4.1 Preparation
1. Prepare the vehicle: Park the car on a flat, stable surface, turn off the engine. Clean the
wheel arch area with a neutral detergent and dry cloth to remove dust, mud, and oil—
ensure the surface is clean for firm installation.
2. Inspect the product: Check the mud flap for cracks, damage, or deformation. Confirm the 3
mounting holes (marked with white dots) are intact and smooth, with no burrs affecting
installation.
3. Prepare tools: Prepare a screwdriver (or wrench), matching screws and washers (not
included), a marker pen, and a drill (optional, for adjusting hole positions on some models).
4. Test fit: Place the mud flap at the wheel arch position, align it with the wheel undercarriage
to confirm the installation angle. Mark the hole positions on the wheel arch according to
the mud flap’s reserved holes.
4.2 Installation Steps
1. Adjust hole positions (if needed): For models with mismatched hole positions, use a drill to
make slight adjustments (drill diameter matches the screw size) to avoid damaging the mud
flap or vehicle body.
2. Fix the mud flap: Place the mud flap back to the marked position, insert screws through the
reserved holes and into the wheel arch mounting points. Fasten the screws with a
screwdriver/wrench, ensuring the mud flap is tightly attached to the wheel arch—do not
over-tighten to avoid cracking the mud flap.
3. Check fit: After installation, gently tug the mud flap to confirm it is stable and does not
loosen. Ensure the mud flap fits the wheel arch curve closely, without interfering with wheel
rotation or suspension movement.
4. Repeat for other wheels: Install mud flaps on the remaining wheel arches following the
same steps, ensuring consistent installation angle and tightness.
