Jerry Fuchs (LCD Soundsystem, !!!, and tour drummer for Juan McLean), a leading figure in the American underground scene who sadly passed away in an accident last year, was always fully committed to Maserati.

Although he passed away during the production, the members continued working to carry on his legacy.

About the Artist

Maserati is: Formed around 2000 in Athens, Georgia, one of America's most vibrant music-oriented cities. Like the Italian luxury sports car that gives the band its name, they pursue a sexy, exhilarating sound, deliberately sticking to an instrumental style. After several member changes, the current lineup settled in 2007. Their progressive and psychedelic music is influenced by Krautrock as well as recent dance music, and their incredible technique of performing everything live has earned them immense popularity in the underground scenes of Europe and America.

In 2009, drummer Jerry Fuchs passed away in an accident. The album, which was in production, was worked on with even greater care, and was finally completed, faithfully preserving his will and spirit.
