The essence of the "Tank Buster" is revealed in the SWS kit. The Hs 129, feared by Allied soldiers as a flying "can opener," has finally been made into an impressive 1/32 scale SWS kit! The Henschel Hs 129 was a tank buster that was equipped with powerful ground attack weapons and destroyed advancing Soviet tanks during World War II. Although it was a twin-engine aircraft, it was small, with a wingspan of 14.2m and a length of 9.75m, and was equipped with two weak French-made Norm-Lon "14M" 14-cylinder double-row radial air-cooled engines (700hp). Its range was 880km, not much different from that of the "Bf 109". Although its maximum speed was only 407 km/h, which was not particularly high, pilots trusted it as an easy-to-handle aircraft because its development purpose was focused on ground attack and it was easy to maintain. Also, due to the Hs 129's unique shape, several kits have been released in the past, but most have been 1/72 scale and have merely replicated the shape.
