Hone your coding skills and have fun with the mCar robot for micro:bit V2. Programming is incredibly easy and it's highly functional. Note: micro:bit is not included. Includes a Japanese PDF instruction manual. No complicated assembly or additional tools are required. Simply attach the wheels, insert the ultrasonic module, connect the pack, and plug the BBC micro:bit version into the edge connector, and you're ready to start coding. This mini programmable robot car kit can be coded using the MicroPython & MakeCode editor. To simplify coding the finished mCar, we have created a custom set of MakeCode blocks and provided detailed instructions on how to use the blocks and write the code. There is a battery holder for 3 x AA batteries (not included). This provides a regulated voltage to power the BBC micro:bit supplied to the edge connector. There is also a power switch to conserve batteries when the mCar robot is not in use. Movement control, obstacle avoidance, light and object tracking, light and sound creation, and control via IR remote control or smartphone (iOS/Android compatible).
