The Player II Precision Bass® exudes Fender's timeless appeal while being tailored for modern players. The neck features a modern 'C' shape with a silky satin urethane finish, and the 9.5-inch radius slab rosewood or maple fingerboard with carefully rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets provides comfortable playability along the entire neck.
The classic tone wood alder body is available in a wide range of colors, including traditional Fender finishes, colors from Fender's archive, and new finishes introduced for the first time in this series. The Player Series Alnico V Split-Coil P Bass pickup delivers warm high-end, throbbing midrange, and powerful lows. A 3-way weight switch allows for a variety of sound configurations. The 4-saddle steel saddle bridge with open gear tuning machines ensures tuning stability and flexibility to explore endless sound possibilities.
